A pleasant weekends rally at Poolsbrook Country Park seen those who rallied with us take advantage of all the facilities you get when rallying on a Caravan and Motorhome Club Site.
The weather was fairly kind for this time of year although we did see some rain on the Saturday and during Flag! Otherwise it was quite mild for November. Some people took advantage of the country park and walked the lake, others set off on their bikes for a ride out, one or two even had a visit to the local watering house - twice.
The Rally Buddies were on hand on the Friday night to allow everyone to indulge in a sweet tooth fix by providing their Tuck Shop - Thank you Darcy and TJ, it fantastic to see how popular the tuck shop is starting to become, especially with the "bigger" children among us.
Saturday Evening seen many of the ralliers attend the local Chester's Fish & Chip, Kebab and Grill Restaurant which supplied us with delicious food and drink, with what only can be described as "Maffis" portions! It was a great night had by all who came with us.
We also managed to wish our Marshal, Plaque Officer and Rally Buddy Liaison Andrea Toplis a very Happy Birthday for her upcoming 50th Birthday

Good Morning, we rally here by kind permission of the Caravan and Motorhome Club
A warm welcome to our current Chairman Scott and Past Chairman John Strutt.
We had 19 arrivals, with visitors from South Yorkshire Centre.
We also have 4 first time ralliers, who will each receive their first time rallier plaque and also a £5 incentive for a discount off your next rally.
A huge thank you to our Marshals for this weekend, Simon, Andrea and Darcy. Here is your rally marshal plaque.
Thank you for organising the Saturday night trip to Chesters Fish and Chip Restaurant. The food was great and I’m sure everyone had an enjoyable evening.
Future Rallies – 1-3 December – is our Christmas Party Rally at Weston on Trent. A festive weekend with party nights, food, children’s party with visit from Santa and lots more.
Moving into 2024, 26 – 28 January is at Donnington Park Farmhouse. This rally has hardstanding, EHU, toilet facilities and also an evening social. (social fee will be informed by the marshals nearer the time).
Then we have on 2-4 February 2024, Sherwood Forest Holiday Park. Again, this rally is on a site and has full use of the facilities, hardstanding and EHU.
All of our rallies are available to be booked via our website, unless stated otherwise if they are full or still require marshals.
