Hazlewood Valentines Rally 2024

Our Valentines Rally was a enormous success, the weather chucked it all at us with snow on the Thursday before the start, rain for most of the Friday and then periods of dry sunny intervals on the Saturday.

This did not deter anyone away from having a fabulous time with a fun packed schedule from start to finish. The marshals excelled themselves and delivered another rally to be remembered.

After everyone arrived on the Friday, we were treated to a sociable evening in the hall with quiz, games, laughter and a disco. The dancefloor was buzzing from start to finish! Also, our Rally Buddy Tuck Shop was available to purchase those treats for the sweet toothed among us and a roaring trade for the Buddies...

Saturday seen many of the ralliers heading for walks long and short, but all routes seemed to lead to the local village pub, were there was not enough room to accommodate us all and we separated into the customised function room were we were welcomed with heating, our own TV (to watch the rugby) and entertainment supplied by Rally Buddies TJ & Darcy!

Saturday night was our Valentines Night starting with a three course roast beef dinner, along with soup and apple pie. The evening's vocalist blew everyone away with the array of music delivered by Richard Comfort (aka Richard Cromford....if you know, you know)....... and again seen the dancefloor filled.

Notes from Flag that was delivered by Simon Toplis (Treasurer)
